Our Circle of Safety program, a lifeline for Indigenous families experiencing family violence is at risk of shutting down after the Government of Alberta’s Ministry of Children’s Services discontinued its funding, mid fiscal year.
Circle of Safety provides culturally safe, trauma-informed counseling, healing circles, and support for Indigenous women and their children. For many, it is the only place they can turn to for help.
